About myHealth(Fastlab)

FastLab is a digital health and diagnostics platform focused on modernizing healthcare delivery across Africa. It connects patients, laboratories, and healthcare providers through digital infrastructure, offering services such as laboratory testing, imaging, telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and secure access to personal health records.

The Goal

The goal was to design FastLab’s digital experience around three measurable outcomes: reduce the effort required to discover healthcare services, improve clarity around what each service offers, and create clearer pathways toward booking or requesting care. We focused on restructuring the information architecture, simplifying service content, and introducing a consistent visual system that could scale across FastLab’s growing healthcare offerings while making key actions easier to identify and complete.

Our Approach

We followed a structured design process that moved from discovery and content mapping to information architecture, wireframing, visual design, and prototyping. We first mapped FastLab’s services and user journeys to identify gaps and simplify the path to key actions. We then developed wireframes to establish hierarchy and navigation before introducing the visual system, responsive layouts, and reusable components.

Interactive prototypes were used throughout the process to walk stakeholders through key flows, gather feedback, and validate design decisions before development. This created a shared understanding across stakeholders and reduced ambiguity during handoff, while establishing a scalable design foundation for FastLab’s expanding digital services.

FAQ

Frequently asked
questions.

01/

What services do you specialize in?

We specialize in product-grade UI/UX design and Framer-based implementation. This includes interface architecture, component systems, responsive layouts, interaction design, and full website builds in Framer. Our work sits at the intersection of design systems and front-end execution, ensuring what’s designed is exactly what ships.

03/

How long does a typical project take?

Timelines depend on scope, but most projects fall within 2–6 weeks. This includes design, implementation, iterations, and launch. Because we work with defined scopes and modular systems, timelines remain predictable without sacrificing quality.

05/

How do revisions and feedback cycles work?

Feedback is handled through structured review cycles. We work with versioned iterations, documented feedback, and controlled revision rounds to avoid scope creep. This keeps decisions intentional and ensures every change aligns with the product goal.

02/

Who do you typically work with?

We work primarily with founders, startups, and product teams who value execution, clarity, and long-term usability. Clients usually come to us when they want a website that functions as a product asset, not a static marketing page.

04/

Do you design first or build directly in Framer?

We do both, depending on complexity. For structured marketing and product websites, we often design directly within Framer, allowing real-time interaction testing. For complex interfaces, we design high-fidelity screens first, then translate them into reusable Framer components.

06/

How do you collaborate with internal teams?

We integrate directly into existing workflows. This includes structured communication, documented feedback, and clear ownership boundaries. Enterprise engagements often involve collaboration with product, marketing, and engineering stakeholders.
